-Be respectful. Critique is generally accepted (except when the author says not to) but bashing and flaming aren't.
-NO STEALING. If I find out any art submitted to the club is stolen, you'll be removed. If you're basing the character off a story or using someone else's character- give credit.
-Please try not to submit mature content. I realize that this is just what some people focus on, but try not to make it the only thing you ever submit.
-If it is mature, use a preview stating that it's 18+ or mature. If you don't want it on your deviation, then include a link to the preview in your note.
-Follow the rules on submitting/joining. It's easier for me and will make sure you aren't overlooked.
-Do not comment on the homepage! Well, you can if you want- but I don't know when I'll check it. If you can't note the club for some reason, please comment on a journal. At least then I'm notified.
If you have multiple accounts that you want to submit from, join on all of them.
Book/Movie/Etc. Based Roleplays/Characters
I know some people like to roleplay from fandoms. Heck, I started out mostly roleplaying Harry Potter past as Remus or Sirius. However, if you're going to do this:
1. Credit the owner of the Book/movie/whatever. Whether it's a game, book, or comic. If you aren't sure who owns it- try to find out or just tell where the character's from.
2. Try to only submit art that has to do with situations you've RP'd and not just generic fanart.
3. If you aren't roleplaying a character that's canon to the book/movie/game/etc., just one created for it- you still have to give credit in the shape of something like "I created this for..."
4. Don't bash other people's fandoms/how they roleplay a canon character. You can give advice if you want, but be nice.
